Welcome!
I'm Scott Francis and I need a new Kidney...
I am a husband, father of two grown daughters, and grandfather of two little girls. I’ve lived in the Kansas City area for 30+ years with my family. It is in my nature to help others before myself but in this instance, I need a little more help from as many people as I can. I would be forever grateful of any help in locating a kidney for my benefit, directly or indirectly. Please read my “About Me” page to learn the journey that I’ve encountered, as well as what most Chronic Kidney Disease patients like me have endured.

As a living donor, you can shorten the wait for a transplant patient.
More than 100,000 people are on the waiting list for an organ transplant in the United States at any given time. Many transplant candidates wait on average 5 years for an organ from a deceased donor.
To shorten the wait, family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers offer to be living organ donors. Living donor transplants can help shorten or eliminate the wait for an organ by giving transplant candidates more options to plan.
Who can be a living donor?
A living donor may be anyone – from family, friends, or neighbors of the kidney patient to a complete stranger. Donors do not have to be the same race, age, blood type, or sex as the kidney patient. They must be 18 years old or older and healthy without kidney disease.
Don’t want to become a donor? You can still help by spreading the word thru social media.
